The festivities began with a playful backyard games tournament at her parents' home on the ocean—a fun and lighthearted start to a classic Nantucket weekend. Game strategies were debated, new friendships were quickly forged and this set the tone for a weekend full of connection and celebration. The rehearsal dinner, held by the main harbor, featured heartfelt toasts from family and friends and a relaxed cocktail hour that welcomed guests to the island. On Saturday, Alexandra and Sam were married in a meaningful ceremony led by both a Rabbi and a minister at First Congregational Church.  Female guests wore all white and men wore black tie. Guests were able to enjoy the sunset at Galley Beach, where an incredible tented celebration awaited by the ocean. Alexandra wanted her photos to feel true to Nantucket—timeless and natural, without leaning into cliché. Some of my favorite portraits were made as we walked together through the dunes toward the tent for cocktails, capturing a quiet moment between the two of them. The night ended with an unforgettable performance by Ripe, a favorite alternative band from San Francisco---bringing a uniquely personal soundtrack to the reception. After party at Cru featured delicious late night food and a DJ spinning tunes.

I literally ran into Mackenzie in the hotel lobby and started chatting and found out about her blog, Design Darling. I started to follow Mackenize's Instagram feed and when I saw her shopping for wedding gowns, I immediately reached out. I knew she had classic style I loved. Incidentally, Jane also texted Mackenzie and mentioned that we would be a good fit and the rest is history. Mackenzie in the hotel lobby and started chatting and found out about her blog
