Heather & Christian
A Homecoming for a Bahamas Bride at The Ocean Club, Four Seasons
Heather grew up in the Bahamas, so when she and Christian got engaged, there was no question their wedding would take place on the island. Heather always admired one of the most storied backdrops in the Bahamas: the Ocean Club's 12th-century Augustinian cloister, originally purchased in France by William Randolph Hearst and later reassembled on Paradise Island. The weekend was planned by Piper & Muse and unfolded across two nights. Friday the groom's family hosted a rehearsal and an oceanfront welcome party under the stars. Saturday for the nuptials, the cloister itself was adorned with blooms artfully crafted by Wildflower Bahamas. A local Nassau 'police' band led the newlyweds and their guests in a joyful procession to the Versailles-style garden for cocktail hour. At twilight, guests ascended the stairs into an incredible custom tent for dining and dancing. Heather wore a fashion-forward Vivienne Westwood gown that matched the singular elegance of the setting, proof that an Ocean Club Bahamas wedding can be both deeply personal and unforgettably grand.
